Heidi Galvez transferred to USF as a junior, and played soccer for the Dons from 1989 to 1990. She graduated in 1992 in Sociology and began a career as a police officer in 1993. She went on to earn Master's in Counseling at Notre Dame de Namur and at Chapman University, and then a Clinical Doctorate in Psychology at California Southern Univeristy. She works as a Clinical Psychologist in Ione, CA. Her focus is helping individuals who suffer from developmental or shock trauma. She also works with Emergency Responders and children. She is a volunteer clinician at West Coast Post Trauma Retreat.
She also played for the Olympic Development team, and for the Sacramento Storm, now known as the California Storm.
