Biography: Nelson was a member of the track and field team from 1967-1969. He participated in several events including the shot put. After graduation he had a long career in the financial sector. 

Why Nelson Chose USF: "Due to the great sports history and tradition."

Favorite USF Memories: "I had a fun time on the Hilltop."

The Student-Athlete Experience: "I had great teammates at USF."

Life After USF: Following graduation Nelson embarked on a long time financial career. He enjoys playing golf, rooting for another Green and Gold team - the Oakland A's, and is involved with various volunteer opportunities.
