The Hillmen played on even terms with their cousins from the peninsula in the first half. In the third period they almost scored when Bradley, King and Condray drove from their own 20 to the Bronco 18-yard line. Last down pass to Lucot, a potential "One- Play Johnny O'Brien" hero, failed by inches, and the Dons took the defensive for the remainder of the game (TheFoghorn).
Jack O'Brien was a member of the College Players, and Vice President of the Associated Students. He graduated in 1936 in Liberal Arts.Â
