University of San Francisco Athletics

The USF rifle team has had an influence that extends far beyond that which would be indicated by mere numbers alone. Rifling, its skill, steadiness and nerve, are quite popular sports at such institutions as San Jose State, Treasure Island, and Fort Ord.

The team, at the time of this writing, has a 500 average, shooting well enough to bring additional laurels to the Hilltop (TheDon).
