In a warmup game Tuesday the Dons trounced San Francisco State 5-0. It was another easy game for the defense and goalie as the Dons controlled the ball throughout the game. The offense however, did not capitalize on all their scoring chances as the forward line is still trying to jell into a unit. Also the middle-of-the-field game (between the forward line and the fullbacks) showed some tactical mistakes made by certain players. Coach Negoesco was satisfied with the score and further added, "Five of our shots hit the goal posts and I played our reserves much of the second half." John Camacho played another good game at goalie for USF, Kirk Apostolidis scored two goals, as did Sandor Hites, and Ken Alonzo got one tally (TheFoghorn).
