2001 SEASON - Contributed two goals and three assists, including a decisive goal in a win against San Jose State (10/16).
2000 SEASON - Tallied four goals in second season on theHilltop, two of them game-winners... named offensive MVP of the Fresno State Tournament after scoring game-winner against the host the Bulldogs (9/8)... also scored game-winner at Colorado (9/17) in a 1-0 double overtime marathon... added an assist against Gonzaga (10/8).
1999 SEASON - Made an immediate impact for USF as a freshman...credited with a team-high four assists and ranked third in points with six... scored first career goal against UNLV (9/3) and also picked up an assist for a three point match.
PREP CAREER - The all-time leading scorer at Handsworth Secondary High School... named a Provincial All-Star for three consecutive seasons and an All-League player for four years... an all-around athlete who also played volleyball, basketball and field hockey asa prep... graduated in 1999. Other Soccer Experience - Played for the British Columbia Provincial team in 1999.
PERSONAL - Kirsteen Buchan... my goal for this season is to obtain a starting position... the best advice I could give to youngsters is that working hard pays off... chose USF for its location, as well as the reputation of the soccer and academic programs... the best thing about being a student-athlete is that you have the best of both worlds... father, Robert, played pro soccer in Scotland... parents are Robert and Mandy Buchan... born March 3, 1981.
