2000 De La Salle Alumni Sports Hall of Fame Awardee for Football (Soccer)
Benito “Tintin” Razon played football for La Salle from grade school to college, 1946 to 47 Midgets, 1948 to 49 Juniors and 1950 to 55 Seniors. His team won two Junior championship trophies from 1948-1949 and three while in the Seniors Division from 1950-1953. He joined the team that represented the Philippines in the Asian Games of 1954. He also played with the Interport Team 4 years, three In Hongkong and one in Manila . He was in the teams that played all the games against visiting European teams, Hongkong, Singapore , Indonesia , Korea , Vietnam that came visiting between 1950 and 1955.
Tintin also played for the varsity team of University of San Francisco, USA, and was nominated to the All American team In 1956. He was a member of the NSCAA Championship team in 1956. He was manager of the Philippine team that played a series of games in Korea in 1971 against Taiwan, Korea and Malaysia . Tintin Razon was inducted into the DLSAA Sports Hall of Fame in the year 2000.
