Strong, athletic player...tenacious rebounder...one of USF's best man-on-man defenders...accurate 3-pt. shooter who can score on the block with either hand...very active around the basket...48.5% career form the floor...509 career rebounds (22nd on USF list)...763 career points (36th on the USF list)...74.3% career free throw percentage.

SENIOR: Projected to be a key reserve, Zerrick started all but one game this season averaging 9.5 points and 5.6 rebounds per contest...was promoted to the starting lineup after Gerald Zimmerman went down in the preseason...made the last tow USF buckets in regulation to enable USF to force game at the University of San Diego into overtime, eventually won by USF...had a total of 16 points and 8 rebounds in that contest...also scored a season high 20 points vs. Idaho State in the Boilermaker Invitational...named all-tournament...pulled nine rebounds at Lamar...averaged 9.7 points and 6.0 rebounds in the West Coast Conference tournament...career high in field goals & fga.

JUNIOR: Versatile reserve was fourth on the team in rebounding, despite playing just 555 minutes...averaged 4.9 points and 3.8 rebounds...recorded career best 42 assists...achieved double-double 11 points and 11 rebounds at California, with seven offensive boards...an accurate free-throw shooter with a career .762...scored season high 12 points at UC Santa Barbara.

SOPHOMORE: Led the team in rebounding with 7.3 per contest (6th WCC)...recorded six double doubles including 18-point, 18-rebound performance vs. Portland on Feb. 17...USF's leading rebounder 16 times, including the first eight games and the last four...hampered by shin splints in February causing him to miss start vs. Santa Clara and Gonzaga...best shooting percentage among starters hitting 52.7% from the floor (8th WCC)...also led the team in free-throw percentage (77.4%, 6th WCC)...named MVP of USF Invitational...double double 11 pts/11 reb. vs. Stanford.

FRESHMAN: Appeared in 24 games, starting once (vs. La. Tech in the USF Invitational)...shot an excellent 48% from the floor and 75% from the free-throw line...hampered for much of the season with a sore back...team's only freshman in 1994-95...scored season high 12 points vs. Mt. St. Mary's and vs. Gonzaga...had an excellent game in the preseason NIT at Memphis, scoring 10 points in eight minutes and hitting four of six shots from the floor...also had a solid game vs. California at the Oakland Coliseum, hitting three of four shots and pulling down five rebounds in just 13 minutes...season high six rebounds in WCC contest at St. Mary's (2/11/95).

HIGH SCHOOL: An All-CIF selection at Long Beach Poly High School where he averaged 16 points and 15 rebounds as a senior...named "Long Beach Player of Year" and all-state...also won Long Beach Poly's "Pursuit of Excellence Award" given for athletic and academic achievement...chosen to the prestigious Long Beach Telegram "Best in the West" squad...L.A. Times all-city and "Dream Team" Selection.
