Perry Fedje was a native of Norway and was claimed as an All-League player after five goals and seven assists in 1973.

Not to be outdone, the Dons reclaimed the ball and sent it racing down the field, where it was nimbly manipulated into the goal by the dynamic Archie Roboostoff. Unassisted, Roboostoff managed to even the score until a few minutes later, when Victor Arbalaez assisted Perry Fedje in scoring a goal which brought the score up in favor of the Dons. As the excitement mounted, the ball was put back into play, where both teams put on a fine exhibition of sportsmanship and skillful playing. The audience (the younger members in particular) watched, enthralled, as the ball was passed from player to player until it reached Theo Van Der Heyden, who took control and propelled it towards the goal, assisted by Fedje. The Dons attained the halftime score ol 3-1. During halftime. while the collegian athletes rested, practiced, and discussed, the younger Mannites presented an example of the enthusiasm soccer is generating among grade school and junior high students (TheFoghorn).
