On a different note, the Diamond Dons have decided to drop their Junior Varsity program for the rest of the season. The JVs were down to six players, according to Mark McGuigan, an infielder/outfielder on the JV squad. McGuigan also commented, "With only six players it made it difficult to play games when the varsity also had games scheduled the same day. We sometimes had to use pitchers in the outfield (USFFoghorn)."
