Mike Cardoza recovered a fumble in the end zone to account for the Don's first score; and then taking advantage of Art Titus' interception, Ed Kuebrich skirted around right end for the final and decisive score. Also helping to lead the Green and Gold to victory was the fine defensive play of tackles Dave Olerich and Mike Powell (TheDon).

Cardoza was a member of the Block Club and Secretary-Treasurer of his Class. He graduated in Political Science.
