Donald F. Menicucci was born on March 22, 1923 and raised in San Francisco, lived in Millbrae, Burlingame and Rancho Murieta before moving to Vallejo in 2001. He attended Balboa High School and USF and played football for them, in the U.S. Coast Guard, the San Francisco Clippers in 1946, and the 49ers in 1947. He was a principle partner in Arc Electric Co., a family owned electrical contracting business in San Francisco for more than 46 years, retiring in 1984. He was a member of the SFNECA; the Italian American Social Club; the Balboa High School Hall of Fame and served as a director for the Rancho Murieta CSD and as a bond commissioner for the Vallejo USD (SFChronicle).
