Biff Barnes was born Merritt S. Barnes in 1946.  He played Shortstop and Second Baseman for the Dons from 1965 to 1968 and was drafted by the Los Angeles Dodger in the 61st Round of the 1968 June Amateur Draft.  He was 5' 10", 165 lbs, and batted and threw right. He graduated in 1968 with a Bachelors in History.
