Patrick McClelland graduated in 1985 with a Bachelor's in Business and was a Vice President at VSP Vision Care in Rancho Cordova, CA.

Last week against San Diego, the Dons combined strong pitching and timely hitting in all three games, much to the delight of Dons' skipper Ken Bowman. In the series opener on Wednesday, the Dons banged out a season high 20 hits in a 15-7 USF win. Rich Herbert, Dave Sheldon, and Ray McDonald each collected 3 hits for the Dons, and Angelo Martin's grand slam gave Dons' starter Pat McClelland his sixth win of the year.

Pat McClelland (4-3, 4.77) gets the starting call this afternoon against Santa Clara. Dave Sheldon (5-2, 4.80) will work the first game of tomorrow's doubleheader while George Kanto (2-3, 6.06) will get the starting assignment in the nightcap. Santa Clara (20-12 overall and 4-1 in the WCAC) trails Pepperdine by one game in the conference standings (TheFoghorn).
