Ralph Navarro was a native of Merced and played two seasons for the Dons football team. He graduated in 1969 in Theology.

Here the game assumed a decidedly unpalatable flavor for Don fans, as the Reno men began to dominate the action. But, the game and gutty Dons turned back all but one Wolfpack probe. Long, tall Ralph Navarro personally halted two of them (TheFoghorn).
