Biography: Chang was a four-year letter winner who played Men's Tennis in the 1980's. After graduating from USF he pursued a degree in optometry and now runs a private practice in his hometown of San Francisco.

Why Chang Chose USF: "I chose USF because of the longstanding sports tradition the school has in the Bay Area."

Favorite USF Memories: "The best thing about playing tennis for USF was the friendships made with teammates that continue to this day. Having the Olympic Club as our home court was nice as well."

The USF Student-Athlete Experience: "To be able to study and at the same time do what I liked the best - play tennis."

Life After USF: Chang is a highly dedicated and passionate optometrist with over 26 years of eye care experience. After he graduated from USF and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, he continued his education at the prestigious New England College of Optometry, where he earned his doctorate in 1992. After leaving Boston, he joined his father in practice in San Francisco, his home city, where he gained invaluable experience and lessons before his father retired.
