Vincent Joseph Tringali was born in Santa Rosa, CA on August 1, 1928, and did two year of Junior College before graduating from USF in 1952. He played tackle for the Dons with Gino Marchetti, Dick Stanfel and Bob St. Clair. He coached at St. Ignatius College Preparatory and the at USF from 1969 to 1971. He was the last football coach for the football program at USF (Wikipedia).
