This past Saturday, thc University of San Francisco rugby team was at it again. This time the challenger was Nancy, the University of France, a hard hitting team that has been beating every opponent in the Bay Area...until now that is. The Dons went into the game with a new strategy: to hold onto the ball, making the opposing team lake it away. The Dons hit harder than ever. Ears were flying, heads were jarring, and blood was flowing. When it was all over, USF was the victor by a score of 15-12. Thc scoring was done by Peter Neels, Mark Birdthistlc, and a power flying try (score) by Ron "the Bruiser" Fletcher. USF rugby has come along way since thc early fall, and with it so has the fan support (TheFoghorn).
Peter Neels graduated in Marketing in 1989 and played rugby for the Dons.Â
