Roberts graduated in Nursing in 1985 and was a member of the U.S. Army ROTC. She was Co-Captain of the softball team.Â
Coach Pearsall blames poor fielding and tough opposition for the recent losing streak. Junior Holly Brashear and Miller had hits in each tournament game. Because of the number of games played last week Nettie Morris was forced to pitch for the first time since high school and hurled three strong innings. Morris also went 3 for 1 in one of the San Diego State games. Pearsall has recruited three pitchers to take the place departing seniors Dianna Albini and Virginia Roberts. Roberts, an All-City player from the Sacramento area, is batting .500 (4 for 8) (TheFoghorn).
