Men's Basketball (1985-1986)

Jimmy Giron was the son of Bobby Giron, Sr., who, began at USF as the Equipment Manager in 1970, and worked there for more than 36 years. Bobby Giron’s name was synonymous with USF basketball, having worked with seven different coaches at the program prior to its suspension in 1982 for recruiting violations.

Jimmy Giron played basketball at USF, and served as an official for the Men's Pac-10 Basketball games. His brother, Bobby Jr. also played basketball for the Dons.
