Tall, athletic center who makes an immediate impact on defense through his shot-blocking ability.

JUNIOR: Hondre took over the starting center position and became a defensive force, ranking fifth in the nation(2nd among returnees) in blocks...truly a breakout season for the Oakland native, he improved his scoring from 1.8 ppg. to 8.5 and his rebounds from 2.2 to 6.2...with 114 blocks he became the Bay Area's all-time career leader (201)...he won the WCC blocks title by 59 over 2nd place Tim Frost (Portland) ...his 46 blocks in WCC play were also a record ...late in the season he surpassed the WCC career mark, but Gonzaga's Casey Calvary (205) was able to pass him when his team went to the NCAA's...Calvary has played 134 career games to just 88 for Hondre ...averaged a block each 6.7 minutes...fifth in the WCC (2nd among returnees) in field goal pct. hitting 53.0%...he trails Calvary by just one for the WCC games career blocks mark (86) and by four (205) for the WCC overall record...scored a career high 22 points vs. Humboldt State...blocked a season high 9 shots at UW.-Green Bay and had 8 at UCSB...last minute block preserved a win over LMU...

SOPHOMORE: Hondre saw less time than as a freshman playing behind WCC MVP Kenyon Jones, but his game continued to progress ...blocked 34 shots in just 229 minutes,averaging a block every 6.7 minutes... played in all 28 games averaging 1.8 points and 2.2 rebounds... season high five blocks in 24 min. vs. UWGB.

FRESHMAN: Challenged for the WCC's shot blocking crown... swatted 53 shots in 30 games (just 405 minutes)...averaged a block every 7.5 minutes ...over the last six regular season games he blocked 22 shots ...season high was nine points in overtime win at St. Mary's...had five games when he blocked six opponent attempts in a contest (URI, St. Joseph's, Santa Clara twice and LMU) ...had a career high 10 rebounds in Cable Car Classic vs. Santa Clara and pulled 9 rebounds vs. LMU.
