David Katsulis was born in 1941 and played baseball as a starting pitcher for the Dons his freshman year, 1960.  He batted and threw right and was 67' 1" and 190 lbs. In 1963 he joined the Lexington NC Giants in the Western Carolinas League, after being selected in the Major League Draft. He also played for the Salem Rebels of the Appalachian League, both teams were associated with the San Francisco Giants. In the 1980s he coached the Valley High School baseball team in Sacramento, CA.
