The men and women's teams both placed seventh at the West Coast Conference Championships with their eyes set on the future. The men were again paced by sophomore Jeff Scharosch's time of 39:17 for 33rd place. Luis Folan finished 35th with a time of 40:16. John Mason ran a time of 40:40, Sean Buehler had a time of 41:30, and Mike Ruiz ran a time of 41:51 to lead the Dons. Last year, the men finished sixth but lost their two leading runners. Despite finishing seventh, the Dons only lose one runner to graduation, Beuhler, while everyone else returns for two or more years (TheFoghorn).
