Terrence Senn

  • Class
    1972
  • Honors
    Baseball (1969-1971), Men's Basketball (1969-1971)

Terry Senn was born in 1949 and played baseball for the Dons at shortstop, third base and second base. He batted and threw right and was 6', 180 lbs. He is second in triples at 9. He also played basketball.

He was drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 12th round of the 1971 MLB June Amateur Draft from USF, and the New York Mets in the 5th round of the 1972 MLB January Draft-Secondary Phase. He played one season with the Mets.

Perhaps the biggest surprise on the team is the Senn-sational play of 6-0 guard Terry Senn. This hustling play-maker has made the offense go, and has pulled off a number of steals. Not only has the play of the starting five been great, but the bench has been outstanding.

A welcome addition to Coach Dan Benedetti has been Terry Senn. Senn, since being called up to the varsity, has hit at a .280 clip, but he has been tough in clutch situations. Against UOP, in the ninth inning, with a man on base and the Dons behind 3-2, Terry shot a triple to centerfield, tying the game. He scored immediately after on a single to give the Dons a victory (TheFoghorn).
