Baseball is the sport of spring and certain young men and their coach are, indeed, dedicated to this sport. They win their fair share of ball games and play a grueling schedule and few fans watch their effects. Again this season, the baseball nine under the gifted guidance of "Dutch" Anderson won more than they lost, but what is of far greater importance, they showed many that college baseball is not dead on the hilltop. It is of endless surprise to many fans that year after year, USF turns out top-flight baseball squads, and it is indeed, a surprise to the students themselves who have their time and energies filled with the things of spring (TheDon).
