The Dons came by their fifth score with five minutes remaining in the third period. Bob Hester, the Marquette back, was in punt formation on a fourth down. A bad pass from center forced him to run the ball out but he was trapped by the converging Don line on the Marquette 26. From this point, Joe Kuharich threw everything but the book at the tiring lads from Milwaukee.  Roy Georgi went for eight yards to go. Rudy Ragan picked up seven on an end around. With eight yards to go, Manny Braz cut off tackle, cut back and traveled into the storing zone. Brown's kick was again no good and the score stood at 33 (TheDon).

Doug Dyckman, Phil Gastineau, George Stefko and Rudy Ragan will handle the end positions for the old-timers, while Ray Conageski, Sam Winters, Ed Roseborough and Art Bardfield will see duty as tackles. Handling the guard positions will be Ed Kaminsky, Joe Dougherty, Joe Wozniak, Paul Braunreiter, John Tsarnas and Nick Vidak, while Harry Skoog will take care of the center slot.

Sunday's season finale against Marquette will see twelve Dons playing their last game for the Hilltop. These men include Jim Ryan, John Finney, Manny Braz, Rudy Ragan, Joe Wozniak, Paul Braunreiter, Harry Skoog. Nick Vidak, Ray Conageski, Sam Winters, Phil Gastineau and Doug Dyckman. It will be strange to watch the Dons next season and not be able to see these old reliables toting the load for the Green and Gold, but we have a sneaking hunch that the manner in which they bow out against Marquette will serve as a lasting impression which will burn bright years after they have left. Most of these men have weathered the most turbulent grid era in USF history. It wasn't easy to brave the storm, but they did, and did it well (TheFoghorn).

Once again a lineman has merited the coveted Richard II Player of the Week Award. As difficult as it is to outshine the backfield, while performing a less conspicuous, but equally important role, guard Rudy "Bill" Ragan
(TheFoghorn).
