During her youth soccer years, Shawni was a 4 year Olympic Development Player. During her high school years, she was a 4 year Varsity starter and 2 year captain, and was awarded the Grossmont North “Player of the Year” 2 years in a row. Having played at the State, Regional, National, Collegiate and Semi-Professional level she has a lot of knowledge and experience to give back to the community that gave her so much growing up. Along with soccer, Shawni also played travel softball and ran competitive track.

Shawni Flint, owner of Accelerated Performance, brings a wealth of experience to the sports training field and college recruiting process. A San Diego native, she attended University of San Francisco as a Division I scholarship athlete her first year of college and quickly became a starter as a freshman. Although the campus, the friends, and the classroom size was everything she was looking for, she realized the team itself wasn’t a good fit for her. With the help of her competitive soccer coach, she was able to transfer to San Diego State University as a full scholarship athlete on the Division I Women’s soccer team as the starting center mid/sweeper. She was welcomed to the San Diego State University team with open arms and she soon realized she made a great decision. During her collegiate career at San Diego State University she captained the team for 3 years and was also honored as “Player of the Week” in Soccer Buzz Magazine.

Without a professional league to continue her playing career, Shawni went on to coach youth competitive teams, high school varsity women’s soccer, and conducting/organizing elite training sessions, clinics, and camps for competitive players who wanted to advance their level of play to the highest level. In doing so, she has helped hundreds of athletes advance to the Collegiate, National, and Semi-Professional levels. She strives to instill a hard work ethic and passion for sports that was instilled in her from a very young age. Being a competitive multi-sport athlete growing up, she truly enjoys working with young athletes and pushing them to the peak of their athletic potential.  Shawni has also made it her goal to not only help with advancement on the field, but also help with the important process of College Support. Having gone through the recruiting process herself and the sometimes overwhelming process of choosing the college you want to play for, she is driven to help each athlete achieve their dreams (KOCollegeSupport).
