Robert Brizuela attended St. Ignatius High School where he played football, soccer, and track. He was also an Uplift-Volunteer for the Summer Elementary Tutoring and Sports Program.

At USF, he ran track and cross country, and played Intramural Basketball. He was a member of Delta Sigma Pi, the Track club, the Hawaiian Club and Treasurer for their Annual Luau. He was also a Cheerleader. He graduated in 1988 with a Bachelors in Management.
