Bouts have been arranged between members of the Dons boxing squad. They will not engage with anyone outside their own ranks, thus no one-sided affair will be promoted. Besides the McEntee pushers, Vic Ramus, Fred Shew, Phil Kearney, Pat Martin, Jack Ferrill, Frank Clifford, George Thompson, Bob Peterson, and George Lenihan have agreed to trade blows. In the past, the Intramural bouts have provided fans with a thrill a minute and at the same time have not been lacking humorous episodes, by any means. As sure as a fighter has a nose on his face, the spectators can expect to see "Admiral" Jack Ferrill, the terrible jolter, climb the ring for the third consecutive time. His opponent-to-be is Pat Martin, frosh footballer. Martin's ruggedness plus Ferrill's weight should rock the floor as well as the audience.

Coach Jeff was unusually impressed with the way his potential gridders Pete Franceschi, Stan Surina, Keith Bridwell, Pat Martin, Russ Kynoch, et al., rammed the elongated pigskin down the "Osees" throats every time they got their hands on the ball.

The Dons are ready to ride, and the Bronco is a very pleasing sight to their eyes. Good against the Jaysee, center Pat Martin from St. Ignatius, intercepted a pass in the first quarter, ran ten yards, and lateraled to Neil Sheridan who raced 55 yards to score (TheFoghorn).
