UNIVERSITY OF PORTLAND 2006: Started five games and made 10 appearances at midfield … limited availability due to injuries … totaled 10 shots and four shots on goal … attempted three shots, two on goal, during 2-1 win over Loyola Marymount on Oct. 20.
 
UNIVERSITY OF PORTLAND 2005: One of three Pilots to appear in all 19 games ... started 16 games at midfielder ...  third on the team with two assists ... also had two points ... 16 shots and five shots on goal ... recorded an assist in first game as a Pilot in a 1-1 tie against Creighton ... recorded an assist against San Francisco.
 
UNIVERSITY OF 
SAN FRANCISCO 2003: Started seven matches and played in 17 contests for the Dons in 2003 as a freshman … registered one assist and eight shots.
 
BOISE HS/DANA HILLS HS: Earned three varsity letters for Head Coach Mike Darrow at Boise High School … named the Southern Idaho Conference Player of the Year as a junior after leading Boise in scoring … First Team All-SIC as a junior, Second Team All-SIC as a sophomore … also led Boise in scoring as a sophomore … transferred to Dana Hills for senior season and led the CIF in assists, earning Second Team All-CIF honors and a First Team All-South Coast Conference citation.
 
CLUB 
TEAM: Played club soccer for the No. 1 nationally ranked Irvine Strikers in 2003 and 2004 … helped club claim U-18 and U-19 Southern California State Championships, U-18 California Premier League title and advance to the Far West Regional Finals in 2003 and 2004 … attended Adidas Elite Soccer Program camp in 2003.
 
PERSONAL: Born Sept. 19, 1984 in Santa Monica … parents are Judy and Dave Oakes … major is Philosophy … enrolled at Portland in the spring of 2005 and played with the Pilots during the spring season … sister Shannon Oakes plays soccer at Seattle Pacific University.
