GENERAL CAPSULE: Aggressive post player both offensively and defensively... can score in the high and low post... Uses mobility and touch around the basket... good athlete who likes to rebound and run the floor. 

2003-2004 SEASON (9.1 PPG, 8.0 RPG, 0.6 APG, 0.7 BPG): Enjoyed a strong junior season turning in new career bests in scoring and offensive rebounds (91) and double-doubles (9)... ripped down a career-high 21 rebounds (10 offensive) in a win against New Mexico (12/11/03)... the 21 boards tied the fifth-best single-game tally in program history, shared by USF head coach Mary Hile-Nepfel ...ranked third among West Coast Conference rebound leaders in overall (8.0) and league contests (8.0) and was second in offensive rebounds in overall (3.3) and WCC games (3.4)... scored a season-high 17 points and added 11 rebounds against Colorado State (12/14/03)... turned in three straight double-double efforts with13 points and 11 rebounds at BYU (1/3/04), 16 points and 11 rebounds against Santa Clara (1/10/04) and 16 points and 11 boards against Gonzaga (1/15/04)... averaged 9.5 points and 8.0 rebounds per game in WCC contests...reached double-figures in rebounds 12 times and scored 10 or more points in 14 contests... led the team in scoring five times and was the leading rebounder in 17 games.

2002-2003 SEASON (9.0 PPG, 8.7 RPG, 0.6 APG, 1.1BPG): Turned in an outstanding season after missing the previous season with an ACL injury... missed first half of West Coast Conference season after suffering rare knee infection...bounced back with a 10 point, 10 rebound double-double againstSaint Mary's (2/8/03) in first game back... turned in 10double-digit rebound performances and also scored in double-figures10 times... recorded six double-doubles (points/rebounds) on the season, including three consecutive, to lead the team... poured in a career-high 20 points against Loyola Marymount (2/28/03) and added 12 boards... led or shared the team lead in rebounding in 14 games... dramatically improved at the free throw line, converting on .754 (46-61), including an 8-of-9 effort against the Lions...converted on 7-of-13 from the floor in 15 point, 12 rebound effort against Gonzaga (2/15/03)... ripped down eight offensive rebounds against Syracuse (12/1/02). 

2001-2002 SEASON: Missed the entire 2001-2002 season with a torn ACL in her left knee suffered before the first exhibition game. 

2000-2001 SEASON(8.3 PPG, 7.0 RPG, 0.6 SPG, 0.4 BPG): Enjoyed a tremendous freshman season for the Dons... established herself as one of the top rebounders in the West Coast Conference... developed into a force on the low block for USF... averaged 8.3 points and 7.0rebounds after earning a medical redshirt in 1999-2000... tallied four double-doubles on the season, behind senior center Kim Whisler's five... collected first double dip against Cal Poly (12/21/00) with 11 points, and a season-high 15 rebound effort...led USF on the boards in 10 games and reached double-digits on seven occasions... poured in a season-high 17 points against Wisconsin-Milwaukee (1/5/01), converting on 8-for-12 from the floor... converted on 8-of-10 free throws at Gonzaga (1/11/01) in a12 point, eight rebound performance... scored 14 points, pulled down 10 rebounds to go along with a career-high four steals at Portland (1/13/01). 

1999-2000 SEASON: Earned medical redshirt after suffering a back injury. Saw limited playing time in three contests. 

PREP CAREER: Won two Pioneer League MVP honors at Quincy High School following her junior and senior campaigns... averaged 19.5 points, 15 rebounds and 5.7 blocks per game... selected to the CIF Northern Section First Team as a junior and senior... graduated in 1999.

PERSONAL: Mary Jane Ann Krueger... goal for the season is to help the team be successful... favorite quote is "Trying times are no time to quit"... favorite food is cookies and cream ice cream; favorite movie is Sweet Home Alabama... favorite sports hero is Michael Jordan... enjoys shopping, swimming and watching TV in her spare time... daughter of Fred and Sue AnnKrueger... born August 6, 1981. 

STRAIGHT FROM THE USFCOACHING STAFF: We are excited to have MJ back for a sixth year. Her experience and leadership will be an asset to this team. MJ will be counted on to be a presence inside for us. Her rebounding ability is one of the best in the conference. We are looking for MJ to have her best season on the Hilltop.
