USF played a fairly good game against Santa Clara, though Santa Clara came out ahead, 7-0. Jennifer Symons of the Broncos scored their first goal thirty-three minutes into the first half. Carol Fisher, goalkeeper for USF, played an excellent game, block ing a twenty yard goal attempt in the second half.

Also from Southern California is Carol Fisher, first baseman out of Mesa College in San Diego. With two years of junior college ball behind her she offers an insight into the game that is truly valuable. Her alertness will benefit the Dons in their search for elusive outs (USFFoghorn).
