Jim Brovelli, John Donohue and Gary Musante to be inducted Saturday.

(San Francisco) – Former University of San Francisco star guard and head coach Jim Brovelli headlines three Dons set for induction into the San Francisco Prep Hall of Fame Saturday, May 19 at Patio Espanol Restaurant. In addition to the 1984 West Coast Conference Coach of the Year, prep baseball coaching legend John Donohue and former USF baseball and football standout Gary Musante will be enshrined.

Gary Musante, a contemporary of Brovelli at St. Ignatius, was a two-sport standout for the Dons. Musante played football for "Mackenzie's Raiders" and helped USF to a 4-2 slate in 1962 and also competed on the baseball squad for legendary coach Dutch Anderson. He graduated in Marketing in 1965.
