GRBOVAZ SCORES TWICE The third quarter brought more Don scoring when Johnston intercepted a Ryan toss on the Guard's 45. Then, a 24 yard flip to Jensen, and a 15 yard toss to Marty Grbovaz brought 6 more for the Hilltoppers. Harry Muns made good the conversion. The final frame was more of the same, with Kleminock tossing a whistler to Grbovaz on the 22, who rambled the remaining distance unassailed. This finally ended it and though the game was a complete rout, 44-6, no one can say that the Coast Guard gridders stopped trying. They were in there plugging, whether opposed by varsity or freshman. Personal scoring for the day included two TDs for Vic Ramus, two for Marty Grbovaz, one for Neill Sheridan, one for Hal Johnston and one for Hal Jensen with Ramus and Harry Muns each adding a conversion (TheFoghorn).
