Gordon Kirby attended the class of 1951 St. Joseph’s High School in Alameda. He graduated from the University of San Francisco in 1955 with a Bachelors in Business. He played for two seasons with the 1955 USF Men’s NCAA Basketball Championship Team. His forty years of employment were in the Transportation industry with California Motor Express and continuing in Labor Relations with the California Trucking Association until retirement in 1997.
