Why Urban Chose USF: “My dad taught at USF, and I had always dreamed of going to USF.”

Favorite USF Memories: “I always loved going to basketball games on the Hilltop. My dad, Hal, played basketball at USF. I'm still a big basketball fan.”

Did You Know?: Urban holds the All-Time USF single season batting average record, albeit based on a small sample size. In 1986, he batted one time, and hit a routine ground ball to the second baseman and it hit a rock and went over his head for a base hit. Since that was his ONLY at bat all season, Urban ended the year 1-1 at the plate with a 1.000 batting average.

Life After USF: Urban currently works in Food Service Management. He's a former chef, and a golf fanatic. Urban resides in the East Bay.
