GENERAL CAPSULE - A dynamic, versatile talent who will be transitioned this season into the forward role... played extremely well during spring season... has great explosion off the ball and technical speed... should create havoc for defenders with her great one-vs-one abilities.
2001 SEASON - Continued to be a presence on the field, scoring two goals and providing one assist... goals scored in back-to-back games against UC Riverside (9/27) and Cal State Fullerton (9/30)... her assist for a Caty Harris goal proved to be the game winner against San Jose State (10/16).
2000 SEASON - Turned in a solid sophomore season on the Hilltop... saw action in 18 matches with nine starts... recorded a pair of assists in 2000... provided game-winning assist at Colorado (9/17) and added another against Stanislaus State (10/18).
1999 SEASON - Made instant contributions to the USF offense in her first season on the Hilltop... scored pair of goals for the Dons... scored unassisted goal against Duke (10/1) and added another tally in USF's 6-0 rout of Stanislaus State (10/19).
PREP CAREER - A Second Team All-State and First Team All-Conference player as a senior at Iolani High School ... twice served as team captain... graduated in 1999.
OTHER SOCCER EXPERIENCE - Played club soccer for the Leahi Soccer Club, advancing to the Regional Semifinal match in 1999... team won the Surf Cup in 1999.
PERSONAL - Jodie Voyce Tanga... enjoys going to the beach... goals for this season are to increase the level of play and win... the best thing about being a student-athlete is meeting people... a little known interesting fact about me is that I love animals... the best advice I could give to youngsters is that there is no such word as "impossible"...
