A 1970 graduate of USF, Phil comes to the Hilltop after coaching for two years at Bishop Diego High School in Santa Barbara where his teams compiled an overall mark of 45-15 and one Championship. While an undergraduate at USF Stumpo was active in many realms of the athletic program including basketball Manager and baseball where he distinguished himself as a first rate second sacker. Stumpo, 24, will assist Gaillard and Belluomini with the varsity and JV teams as well as with scouting and recruiting. In addition to his coaching duties, Phil has assumed the position of USF's first full-time Athletic Publicist (USFAthletics).Â
