A native of San Francisco, Armand Clavere was born in San Francisco on December 29,1925 and as a very young man honorably served in the Army Air Corp as a radio operator-gunner on B-17's during WWII. After completing his service, Armand graduated from the University of San Francisco in 1949 in Business and embarked on a successful business career in vending services. Upon the sale of the business, he returned to his original aspiration to be a lawyer. Armand began law school in his 40s and graduated from the McGeorge School of Law in 1971. After a second chapter career as an attorney for the State of California, Armand retired as an Administrative Law judge (SacramentoBee).
