The six newcomers include: guards Kevin Mouton (Jamestown JC and University of Oregon) and Terrill Hall (Bellevue Junior College), forwards Joel DeBortoli (College of the Siskiyous), Mike Sestich (San Pedro High School), Jeff Christian (Archbishop Mitty High School), and Bill Beecher (Saddleback JC). The Dons this year will face every Division I team in the Bay Area, including California, Stanford, UOP, St. Mary's, and Santa Clara. This year will be the toughest year in the last three for the Dons as far as opponents go.
Rounding out the squad are two highly regarded freshmen, 6' 8" Jeff Christian and 6' 5" Mike Sestich. Christian was an All-League performer at Mitty High School in San Jose where he averaged 20 points and 10 rebounds (TheFoghorn).
