Akerjordet was both on August 18. 1975 in Norway and played for the Dons from 1997 to 1999. Prior to USF, he played professional soccer in Norway for Valerenga IF and for Eliteserien from 1994 to 1996. He graduated with a Bachelors in Business from USF and earned a Masters in Business from University of Technology in Sydney. He is currently a Director of Partner Relations at Handelshøyskolen in Oslo.
