AS A JUNIOR IN 1999-2000: Saw action in 30 games and started 23 contests...scored a career-high 17 points twice, against Loyola Marymount and San Diego...scored in double figures on 15 occasions...averaged 13.3 points over the last for games of the season...recorded first career double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds in the WCC Tournament against San Francisco...recorded first three-point field goal against San Diego...scored 13 of his 17 points against Loyola Marymount in the second half...grabbed nine rebounds on four occasions...third on the team in scoring with a 9.3 average...second on the team in rebounding, pulling down 4.8 per game...recorded 15 blocks on the season, including three at San Diego...led the team in scoring on five occasions, including the final two games of the season...led the Broncos in scoring and rebounding in both WCC Tournament games...led SCU in rebounding seven times...attempted 13 free throws against Loyola Marymount, the most for a Bronco during the season...went 5-for-5 from the free throw line against Southern Illinois...scored in double figures 15 times on the season, including the final five games.

AS A JUNIOR IN 1998-1999: Appeared in the first two games of the season vs. Pacific and UCLA before redshirting the rest of the campaign with chronic swelling in his right knee, caused by a July surgery to repair a torn lateral miniscus.

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 1997-1997: Came off the bench to see action in all 28 games...first big man off the bench...averaged 6.5 points and 4.1 rebounds...shot 42.0 percent from the field...13 blocked shots ranked second to Alex Lopez's team-high 16...posted four double-figure scoring games on the year, topped off by a career-high 16 points against Penn at the Cable Car Classic...took team-high scoring honors against San Jose State, finishing with 14 points on 6-of-9 shooting from the floor...had 10 points vs. Houston at the Hawaii Nike Festival...pulled down 11 rebounds in overtime loss to USF, the highest total by a Bronco player during the regular season...shot 64.7 percent from the field over the team's first four West Coast Conference games...posted solid numbers in the Broncos two games in the West Coast Conference Tournament...had eight points, four rebounds and two steals in the victory over Portland...scored 15 workman-like points to go along with six rebounds vs. USF...was 8-for-11 from the field for the two games.

AT WEST VALLEY JUNIOR COLLEGE: Spent the 1996-1997 season at West Valley Junior College...played for Bob Burton...averaged 14.0 points and 9.7 rebounds...shot 59.1 percent from the field...first team All-State selection...named Most Valuable Player of the Coast Conference.

AT USF IN 1995-1996: Redshirted the season as a natural freshman.

HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: Attended Merced High School in Merced, CA....averaged 18 points and 10.5 rebounds as a senior...earned All-State, All-Stanislaus District and Central California Conference MVP honors as a senior...helped Merced to a 27-9 record and a berth in the 1995 Northern California Section championship game.

PERSONAL DATA: Born January 24, 1977 in Baddcaunstaut, Germany...parents are John and Nancy Holmes...majoring in History...hobbies include playing Nintendo, tennis, swimming and golf...lists Pete Sampras and Michael Jordan as the athletes he most admires...fan of the Chicago Bulls and Los Angeles Lakers...would like to teach and coach following graduation.
