In the second game of the double-header senior Ray Rivera threw another complete game as he gave up only three earned runs, while scattering nine hits as the Dons won 8-3. It was Rivera's first complete game of the season, as he had a good deal of runs to work with.
The Dons on Sunday momentarily had a 6-5 lead going into the top of the eighth, but a pinch-hit grand slam erased that, as the Mustangs used a five-run inning to go on to victory. Starter Ray Rivera, after giving up five runs over the first two innings, then reversed the trend to keep the Dons in the ballgame as he retired at one point 11 straight (TheFoghorn).
