    Baseball (1968-1969)
Greg Sinclair was born on April 14, 1947 and played baseball for the Dons from 1968 to 1969 as a relief pitcher, and was drafted that year by the San Diego Padres, in the 16th Round of the of the MLB June Amateur Draft. He batted and threw right and was 6' 4", 200 lbs.

The ace of the mound corps is senior Roger Strack, a hard throwing right hander. Roger had an impressive 8-0 record last season, with an ERA of 1.74, earned against the toughest teams the Dons faced. Junior Mike Delagnes is the other half of the Hilltop one-two punch. Another aspirin thrower, he will replace last year's ace, Joe Gualco. However, Coach Benedetti stated that Greg Sinclair, a transfer from CCSF, Jim Johnson, Herb Kuss, and Chris Calhoon will all have a shot at the third starter.

The strong point will be pitching. Back from last year's team are leading pitcher Mike Delagnes, Greg Sinclair, and Mike Dinslage. Up from the frosh are Dana Henderschott and Mike Redling. Joining this group is Al Paganuchi from College of San Mateo.

Ron Dinslage made his first appearance on the mound for Benedetti. Dinslage came out to pitch the fifth inning, but he didn't last long. He gave up one hit, two walks, and one run in the one-third of an inning. Greg Sinclair came in to bail Dinslage out of trouble. Dana Henderschott came in to pitch the final two and a third innings. He struck out six of the ten batters he faced in his stint, and did not allow a hit until the bottom of the ninth. In his two appearances, Dana has thrown ten and a third innings of great relief, allowing opposing batsmen no runs and has struck out thirteen. He has one victory (Stanford) and earned the save against Berkeley. The win at Cal went to Sinclair (TheFoghorn).
