Dony Wilcher attended USF from 1996 to 1999, studying Sociology, and transferred to Portland University for his Bachelors. At USF he played two seasons for the Dons and was considered a strong guard, but left mid-season his sophomore year.  Wilcher, 21, had been averaging 6 points and 3.9 assists per game. He was hitting but 32 percent of his shots. Last year, as a redshirt freshman, he averaged 4.4. points and 1.8 assists, hitting 36 percent of his shots. He came to USF as a much-honored prep from Fremont High in Los Angeles (SFGate). He works as a Sports Performance Coach in Portland, OR.
