2001 (Junior): Started 55 games sitting out only the March 9 Rice home game DH-23; 2B-22; 1B-8; LF-2)…led the team with 24 multi-hit and 19 multi-RBI games…tops on the squad in eight offensive categories…had a team-best six RBI against Hawai'i-Hilo (May 17)…tied for single-game high in total bases (8) and hits (5) against Hawai'i-Hilo (May 19)…led all individuals with a .390 batting average in 20 non-league games and a .388 average at home in 36 games…hit .407 with runners in scoring position with 51 RBI while leading the team with 17 two-out RBI…hit two grand slams, one off San Jose State's Chris Sherman (Mar. 23) and the other off Hawai'i-Hilo's Clay Daugherty (May 12), to tie UH's single-season and career mark for grand salamis…also tied the UH mark with three doubles twice against Hawai'i-Hilo (May 17 & 19)…hit .400 against southpaws and .361 versus right handers…hit in 47-of-55 games…finished the season riding a 14-game hitting streak dating back to the April 21 game at Rice in which he posted a .508 batting average with 18 runs and 28 RBI…in the final six games of the season against Hawai'i-Hilo, he went 16-for-27 (.593) with eight doubles, two homers, 11 runs, and 20 RBI.…in 35 WAC games, he batted .354 with 15 doubles, 24 runs, eight homers, and 44 RBI.

1998 and 1999 (Freshman and Sophomore): Played at the University of San Francisco...as a sophomore, hit .326 overall in 51 games with eight homers and 46 RBI…batted .280 in WCC games…led the team in doubles with 14…as a freshman, led the team in 10 offensive categories while going on to earn Freshman All-American kudos…was a second team all-WCC selection…hit .433 in WCC play with 14 doubles, four home runs, and 25 RBI…set a school single-season record with 135 total bases…hit a pair of grand slams in separate games against cross-town rival San Francisco State.
Prep: A 1997 graduate of Iolani School where he was an all-ILH and all-state performer his senior season…earned two all-league second honors his sophomore and junior years…hit. 385 as a junior.
