Bob Norman Barbeau was born on November 21, 1925 in Bryte, CA. He attended Christian Brothers High School in Sacramento, CA. Barbeau compiled a career batting average of .261 with 5 home runs and 10 RBI in his 136-game career with the Pawtucket Slaters, Denver Bears, Globe-Miami Browns and Wenatchee Chiefs. He began playing during the 1949 season and last took the field during the 1950 campaign. He was 6', 170 lbs, threw and batted right, and played outfield.
