Career Highlights: Four-time later winner for the Women’s Tennis; 1990 Dean’s List

Biography: Scaife was a four-time letter winner for the Dons women’s tennis team, and came to the Hilltop in 1990 on a partial tennis scholarship. She played both singles and doubles, and enjoyed playing in matches with local players from the city, along with teammates from other parts of the world. 

Why Scaife Chose USF: "I chose USF because of the location and the incredible welcome I had received. The size of the school and education being provided were incredible benefits that I was seeking in a university."

Favorite USF Memories: "Being part of an incredible diverse women's tennis team. Our team consisted of local players from San Francisco to Denmark to Nepal. We had incredible matches, and we were given an incredible opportunity to travel to Hawaii."

The USF Student-Athlete Experience: "During my four years of playing tennis on the Hilltop, I not only had great teammates, but I made friendships that I have been able to treasure to this day.” 

Life After USF: Scaife graduated in 1995 with a Business Management Information Science Degree.
