Kevin Ellis was the son of the USF Hall of Fame basketball player, Joe Ellis, and was a native of the Bay Area. At 6' 5", he played guard for the Dons from 1986-1990.
Also returning at guard are 6' 2" senior Keith Jackson and 6' 4" sophomore Kevin Ellis. Jackson expects to see increased playing time this season, mainly at the off-guard position. A good ball handler and shooter, he will provide depth as a starter and sixth man. Ellis, who can also be used at forward, will also see more time this year. He runs the break very well and is an exciting player who can dunk with anyone (TheFoghorn).
