Heading the parade of new Green and Gold cagers, who should add strength to the Dons this year in defense of their collegiate crown, is 6 ft. 5 in. Carl Boldt, recently discharged from the Army and named All-Army last season. Boldt, a 195 pound forward, played ball at Glendale Junior College and was named to the All-American Junior College squads in 1952 and 1953. John Koljian hit two dandy set-shots, and hustling Mike Preaseau and Charlie Russell held dangerous Art Powell to a couple of field goals (TheFoghorn).
